Lumière d’hivers — When Light Meets Music and Poetry
Why “Lumière d’Hivers” is a Unique Light Calligraphy Performance
Musique, Light Calligraphy, Poésie
♦ Lumière d’hivers is a poetic and immersive performance blending light calligraphy, live music, and spoken word. Created at the Cultural Center of Villabé and the National Center for Puppetry Arts Le Sablier, the show returns on June 20, 2025.
This light calligraphy performance is part of our Calligraphic Resonance series, which blends luminous gestures with immersive music and visual poetry. It’s a unique expression of the artistic fusion Light Calligraphy creates on stage.
A Captivating Light Calligraphy Performance
With the crystalline tones of the Cristal Baschet played by Karinn Helbert, and the meditative rhythm of the Handpan by Jeremy Nattagh, the atmosphere becomes both timeless and immersive.
Fella Malou’s luminous calligraphy translates the essence of poetry into flowing gestures of light, echoing the musical resonance in real time. François Aenishanslin amplifies these visual dialogues with digital scenography, orchestrating a subtle light choreography on stage.
Poet François-Xavier Malingre interlaces narrative fragments that deepen the emotional arc of the performance, creating a multisensory journey where each sound, gesture, and word becomes a form of visual writing.
